The IntelliQuest® Studies
The IntelliQuest Studies are designed to measure the media habits and purchase behavior of people involved in technology-related purchasing decisions and usage. These studies are fielded year-round and released twice annually, in the spring and the fall. These studies focus on the media and technology purchasing habits of adults age 18+ within the contiguous United States. They are the only studies to provide in-depth marketing and media insight into those who influence technology purchasing decisions. The studies have been conducted since 1993 and remain the only studies in North America to measure print media usage through a 100% Web survey instrument.

In 2008, while the business study continues to focus on technology influencers, the consumer study has broadened its scope and now focuses on both the purchasing behavior of technology users as well as those who influence technology purchases in the home. The new consumer study is a reflection of technology usage by the Internet enabled population. What was known as computer-related technology has converged with what was known as consumer electronics. Now the chip is everywhere! In keeping abreast of this technological evolution we now provide both expanded usage and purchase behavior in order for marketers to better understand consumer adoption and usage; agencies evaluate new and traditional media; and provide media with a better understanding of their mediums impact in this new consumer environment.
The studies provide clients with a single source database which may be used for:

The IntelliQuest® Online Behavior Studies
The IntelliQuest Online Behavior Studies are executed as opt-in, self-administered Web surveys. Respondents are invited to participate after completing the Business or Consumer Study for an additional incentive. These Online Studies were created in response to the technology market`s interest in having site-specific Web visitation and usage behavior data among IntelliQuest Business and Consumer respondents. Below are the two modules that make up the Online Behavior Studies.
